While we were setting up some of the staff actually wanted to check out what we did.
It’s nice having a chance to talk to people and show them what 3D is capable of doing, most people only think 3D printing is good for making toys. We brought out a variety of prints to show the multitude of industries 3D printing can affect.
It’s amazing seeing some of the kids interact with 3D printing and seeing what it can do, a lot of them like to get their hands scanned and see it appear on the screen.
A young group from the robot fights actual showed us their robot, mostly 3D printed, and asked if we had any advice on it which was awesome. Unfortunately, we didn’t get any good photos of the robot.
It was amazing to see what else was there, just right across from us was drone show were people could fly a variety of drones. Some other attractions were the foil sculpting, clay pottery, Popsicle catapults, lockpicking, and robot fights and that is just a few of the attractions this year.
We hope we get the chance to go next year in 2020! at the Oklahoma Science Museum
